  2. How can I advise you, when you do not provide sufficient information? It is not possible. If it concerns masturbation, and your the shame you feel as a result of being brought up in a repressive culture, let me assure you, it is NOT a bad habit, all species of primate do it, both males and females, and many monkey species.  Male humans more than female humans in a ratio of around 3:1 (married as well as single). It is difficult to get exact figures.

  3. One thing I've found that works well to tame the compulsion, is to wear one of those thick rubber-bands around your wrist. Whenever you feel the urge coming on, stretch the rubber-band and then let it snap back against your wrist. Hard. Over time, the urges will fade, or even disappear.

    It also works for over-eating, obsessing about a lover or an Ex, procrastinating, any sort of habitoid brain malfunction.

  4. Bad habits are formed by repetively doing them many times. To undo a bad one a person must practice the good opposite habit for 20 to 30 days.
