  1. how do you describe  the titanic...

well..  a ship believd to be insinkable because it had a double hull.   Hit an iceberg.. punctured both hulls and sunk with a great loss of life.

  2. What are you asking??????????????

  3. Do you mean <discredit> Titanic> I hope not>

  4. Please explain what you mean by the magic word "discrid."  It does not appear in any English language dictionary, and your question cannot be answered unless you define the word.

By the way, "tony" is wrong about why the Titanic was considered "unsinkable."  Titanic had a single hull, and the hull was divided into watertight compartments by transverse watertight bulkheads.  It was thought that the likelihood of more than one or two of the compartments being breached was very slight.

In the collision with the iceberg, a spur of ice below the waterline tore a gash through at least four of the compartments, and the "unsinkable" ship sank, providing a moral lesson that has not yet been forgotten.

If you want to understand the Titanic disaster, you will find it is one of the most documented events in human history.  Go to the library (learning resource center) and ask the librarian to help you find information about the Titanic.

  5. Same as you discrid Olympic or Lusitania
