  1. It's called emancipation. But if you're happy living with your Dad, then so be it.  Theres nothing forcing you to have a relationship with your mum, but you need to make the right decision where it won't affect you later on in life and leave you with regrets.

  2. how old are you? if u are an adult and have the means to support yourself , just move out and ignore her.

if u r still legally not an adult, ignore her..as in dont wait around to talk or socialize.

but no matter what you do..the point is you cant change who your parents are. no matter how far you move away or even if you legally file a restrain agaist her...she'll still be your mother.

  3. change your last name when your 18 google search offical name change

  4. its called emancipation... even if you are living happy with your dad it keeps your mom from dealing with you legal or personal affairs while your a minor.

  5. I feel you, in a way, but with dad in this case, well I think you should talk to your mom, maybe what causes you guys problems is lack of communication. I don't have that problem with my mom, but I do with my dad.

  6. i dont know about the law in australia but in the states it is called emancipation and there isnt a point to it if u are not living with her

the whole point of emancipation is so U will be legally responsible for urself, instead of ur parents being ur gaurdians.

so if ur living with ur dad, and ur happy with him, n ur mom dosnt have any rights over u, then theres not any legal reason to divorce ur mom

i dont even know if they do that in australia

    u should try googling it

type emancipation laws austrialia or parental divorce austrialia or sumthing like that

  7. the word would be "disown." sorry i'm not entirely sure, i don't think you have to take any legal actions or anything, to disown someone is just to cut them off and act as if they are not there.

  8. haha. at first i was like, you married your mom?

but seriously, just tell dad and see if he'll take you in.

  9. You gotta be 16 to legaly move out of your parents care.

If your not than you may be able to choose to live with ya dad.

  10. My mother made my life h**l too. I understand you.

You want to 'disown' her. I am not sure how to legally do this, but for the present time, do not speak or associate with her at all. You'll be all the happier.

Congratulations on leaving her - you have done the right thing.

  11. If u are under 18 than then u should search "Emancipation of minors". These are laws for under 18 to get rid of their parents. U should better consult a lawyer

  12. the term you're looking for is emancipated. look it up online for your city and it should have forms and steps you need to complete!
