Question:

How can i do better on my SAT's?

ok so im kinda smart i hav like a 3.0-3.2 GPA (depending)

and i make good grades

im in the top half (rank wise) (i would be higher but i go 2 a school full of 4000 kids most of which super smart so its super hard to hav a good rank)

anyways took the SAT and bombed it got like 1200 (i kno super bad)

and like i kno most of the stuff...thts not my problem ( cuz i can figure it out )

my problem is the time, i can figure it out just not fast so like half my test i omitted

will practicing make me faster?

or r there other ways ?

anything will help, i just wanna get into a good school

and a&m said i need 2 get a 1300 of just math and reading

i couldnt even get tht overall

HELP PLEASE!!!!

  2. Buy the official study guide (the big blue book).  And take the practice tests.

  4. 1200 out of 2400? Umm...sorry, but that's not a competitive score for college. Try an SAT class, that's what I did. It did improve my score a couple hundred points. I went from a 1900 to a 2100.

  6. 3.4 G.P.A here, I felt the same way, I took the SAT recently and got a 1560 which is also not good, I suggest studying the official SAT study book, I did not do it but I have heard it is useful. I suggest also taking practice tests and timing yourself on a a weekly basis with a practice test. Good luck, Good Day, and God Bless.
