  1. hi! First of all, start with clean, dry hair. part your hair upwards from your ears, to the top of your head, and pin the rest of it back so that you only have two long strands in front.

And I have two ways you can make the waves in your hair.  ONE: get a crimper from Wal*Mart that has the large crimps, the waves will look very similar to the photo. Then crimp those two strands of hair in front and continue with directions below!

TWO: grab a one inch section of hair and hair spray it lightly then wrap the hair AROUND a 1 1/2 OR 2 inch barrel curling iron.  WRAP it, do not actually open the iron and put your hair in it.  Hold for NO longer than 5 seconds, then slowly pull the iron downwards so your hair is released from being wrapped around it.

    ********************

Do that to both strands of hair in your face, then with the hair pinned back, take it out so its all down, and pull half of it up, but leaving the two strands in front down. hairspray all of it to finish the look!  And ta-da! The style is darling!! Good luck with it!! :)

  2. i'd suggest getting a curler. the curls that the girl in the picture has can be either normal curls, or ribbon curls. ribbon curls are alot different than your traditional curls but they look really cute. it also depends on really what you're going to be using as in styling tools to be able to tell you what you should use. from a personal point of view i'd advise using the chi heat product. i'm not sure what it's called but it helps to create less damage in your hair. i'd also suggest using any of the foams, gels (which aren't really gels they're more like serums) from the sunsilk captivating curls collection. i've personally used them & they work wonders, especially the gels which is really neat looking. it even gives me curls that look like i've actually done them w/ a curling iron when i haven't.as for the rest of your hair get either big curlers or a flat iron & use that to create waves in the rest of your hair. then just sweep it back like the picture has it & you're good to go.

  3. It looks like two pieces of hair are coming down on the side, so you'll want to curly two pieces coming down (with iron or those barrel curler things). Then you'll want to put the rest of your hair up in a bun.

  4. Ohhh! I'm so jealous of your long hair! LOL

Okay, so put most of your hair in a bun, leaving two thick strands out in the front.. (she is wearing a bun, right? if it's a pony tail then obviously don't do a bun!)

And spray some texturizing spray in your hair [Try Wave Hello by Sunsilk, it's something like that, it's in a blue container.]

Oh wait but before you do that, use the same Wave Hello stuff, but it's a gel-moose mix or something, and when your hair is damp run it through your hair and scrunch it while it's air drying. If you use a blower it will blow the style out.

So keep on scrunching it and it should be wavey. Then spray that stuff on your hair.

    OR OR OR

You could have your hair dry, and use a really big curling iron so it would give you big waves like that.

    I hope this helps!

  5. um take most of your hair back, leave three inches of the front down. curl those strands.
