How can i download my pictures??

I have a U600 samsung phone i would like to download my pictures on my laptop i have the cable but i lost the CD is their anyway that i could download it please

*Connect your camera and computer by USB cable/plug.

*Your computer will show it to you as another drive in "My computer"

*Click on it and start copying the picture and paste it to a specific folder on your computer.

OR, Get a memory card reader and use that, much easier.
