  1. Watch more impressionable TV before you go to sleep.


  2. Having to much time on your hands before you sleep, can give your nightmares... happens to me alot.....

  3. You have a personal dream rhythm cycle.  Average is about 90 minutes, with dreaming toward end.  So waking after 7 1/2 hours would be a start--5 cycles.

    Intention at nighty-night time is also a factor.  Try "The Masters and Their Retreats," Mark Prophet, for images and general awareness.

    2. Keep a dream journal to help you remember the dreams you do have.

    I've also heard that drinking Gatorade before bed can give you weird dreams, but I wouldn't recommend it. haha.

    I think you're avoiding something. Without some anxiety, you will not dream.

  7. Small amounts of vitamin B-12 (50 mcg - sublingual) taken at bedtime has been shown to increase dream intensity about 50% of the time. You might be dreaming but just not realize it - there are infinite levels of dreaming "consciousness".
