How can i dunk a basketball?

My height is 5'10" and 14 years old. What can i do to dunk a basketball if i play everyday?

Get taller or do things to help you jump higher.

Start doing squats. If you've never done them before, start with just your bodyweight and add weight carefully as you get stronger. For jumping, you want to make every rep as explosive as possible, meaning that you stand back up from the low squat position as fast as you can. When I was 13 I added a foot to my vertical in about 6 months with just squats and calf raises. You just gotta do them the right way.

If you don't have acces to weights, try doing 1 legged squats. You can use something to hold onto for help. Good luck.

You need to have high jumping ability at 5'10'' to dunk the ball at a NBA height basket. You need to work on your jumping by doing jump ropes and jump as much as you can everyday. Set a height target and if you are successful at the height then raise it up by about an inch and try to jump that high. Keep raising the height little by little until you can no longer jump any higher.

work on your jumping ability by doing upper and lower leg training. if you cant do that, throw the ball of the backboard and throw it off again while you are in the air. do that ten times in a row, and then rest for 30 seconds. repeat this cicle five times a day.

practice on a trampoline, jumping, build up your legs, you ned to jump 14 feet, good luck.

Well I'm 5'11" and 15 years old. And I can dunk it at 9'6" so just lower the rim!
