How can i dye canvas shoes?

i've got a free pair of converse chuck taylor but i don't like the color so i was thinking of dying it. so how should i do it? what do i need? i once spray painted my shoes and it was awful... i dirtied my carpet so bad as the color was always coming off. thanks!

Tie-dye kits. Buy them at Michaels:http://www.michaels.com/art/online/home

If you want light colors on your shoes, add water to the dye. But if you don't leave it as is. (:

Except you won't be able to do the rubber band part so just pour the dye where ever you want a color to be. :P

if they are canvas converses then fabric dye will do

just do what the packet of dye says and folow the instructions

if they arent a fabric like canvas then i seriously dont think your gonna b able to dye them

remember to take the laces out when you dye them unless you want to dye them too!
