I made a site b/c i'm trying to earn money for animal shelters & homeless animals with my friend. but how exactly DO you raise money & get other people invlolved? please help!

Only a register non profit organization can solicit donations.  Check the website     irs.gov and look at the rules  of non profits.

hi courtney!, what do you mean by 'you have made a site'? it is live? what is the domain name?

if it is not live, then have you chosen a suitable domain name? you can elect to end the domain name with an '.org' since you are raising funds for abandoned animals.
