  1. Alright, this is what I do...:

    1) Start with a foundation. They are in liquid, liquid-solid, and powder form. I recommend changing to a liquid as they work much better than powder foundations. Apply this first with a wedge applicator sponge. You can buy these at any drug store. Add a drop of foundation to the sponge and apply over face in a downward motion ensuring that you blend well at the jawline.

    2) Next use concealer to cover up any blemishes and under eye circles. Concealer comes in two forms, liquid or solid. I recommend solid for concealer as it covers better. I use Maybelline Cover Stick... Take some of the concealer with a concealer brush (you can find these anywhere...drugstores, walmart etc.) and apply over the blemish. Pat into blemish/undereye...don't rub it will take off the concealer and defeat the purpose.

    3) Set the foundation and concealer with a powder. Translucent powder is colorless and works very well for this. I like Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder. Take a generous amount of powder and apply with a large powder brush all over face.

    4) For your eyes you can either apply your eyeliner or shadow first, it doesn't really matter. There are many different ways to apply both, but I recommend watching Xteeener's various eyeshadow tutorials on youtube. She has many different styles from everyday-natural-night out!

http://www.youtube.com/user/xteeener . Apply your mascara last in a upwards motion. Apply mascara on your bottom lashes first in order to avoid mistakes.

    5) Finish it up with a lipgloss that matches the look. If your doing a natural look choose a natural color of lipgloss...if you are going dramatic choose a bit darker shade.

*The difference between foundation and concealer is that concealer is thicker and covers imperfections better that foundation alone.*

    Hope I helped! ♥

  2. You don't need to be wearing so much on your face ... just put a couple drops of foundation in your palm with some light moisturizer and apply that so it isn't so heavy on your face.... concealer is only used when you have a blemish or dark circles under your eyes.. I will use it and almost always use a moisturizer afterwards so it doesn't look thick on my eyes.

Since you say you use powder foundation try applying it and then around your nose, cheeks and eyes apply some moisturizer to get rid of that dry look.  You want makeup to look dewy and youthful not heavy.

On my eyes I apply color close to my lashes and then a lighter color in the arch of my eyebrows... eyeliner on the top and the outer corners and blend the bottom corner with a sponge applicator so it doesn't look like a drastic line.  I use one of those eyeliners that you can wet the brush for a darker liner or apply it dry for a lighter look. (Trish McEvoy)

Mascara I apply on the outer lashes working my way inward and only apply on the bottom corner lashes.(Maybelline thick n full) Dark brown for day and black for evening unless you have darker hair use the black all the time...

Lips ... I like using a liner (nude color)or(pink) with Neutrogena clear gloss it's amazingly velvety but they also make some other really pretty colors.  I like wearing a liner because it will help your lips stay colored longer.

Blush I apply last just to the cheek bones and blend around just for color but shouldn't look like you are wearing streaks on your face.  I hope this helps you... I do the same thing for evening but just use bolder eye colors and apply more eye makeup to make them more dramatic looking...more mascara etc..

Bare Escentuals makes amazing powder foundations and their kabuki brushes are the absolute best I think...

Good Luck and I hope I helped a little

  3. Foundation is a base to cover up any blemishes on your face.

It evens out your skin tone & gives you a fresh palette to work with.

Concealer is for concentrated trouble spots on your face or spots with more wrinkles than others. Or dark circles.

I would go with this method of applying make up.

-Star off with a clean & washed face.

-Use a concealer brush or face sponge to apply your foundation.

-Apply light powder on your jawline & all over your face.

-Dust on bronzer on your t-section (forehead & nose), cheek bones, & a little on your chin (optional).

-Apply your eyeshadow dark or light (depending if you want a casual look or dramatic look).

    -Apply eyeliner.

    -Apply mascara.

    -Then lastly apply your lipgloss.

    DONE!

If you ever want good make up tips-- search "Make up tutorials" on youtube & there are a bunch!

    :] hope this helps.

  4. ok foundation first......get a circular pad and apply an equal amount of foundation on your face

eyeliner: eyeliner is pretty easy.....hold the bottom part of your eye down and on the gooey spot go side to side with your eyeliner until it's dark enough

mascara: take the brush and wipe it on the top of the bottle [for no clumps] and put it under your eye and blink a lot

eyeshadow: use three colors------1st white or cream.....apply it to the very top of the eye lid...right under the brow 2nd----a little darker of the shade you use...apply on the rest of the lid 3rd----use the darkest of the shade and put it on the very bottom of the lid and in the crease of the lid

    hope this helps....

  5. They have really cool makeup ideas on youtube.  They will show you tutorials on how to apply any kind of makeup.  It's better to watch then to explain.  Hope that helps :)

*foundation is all over concealer is only meant for tiny spots (like zits or acne)

  6. ok well.. concealer is to coverup spots that you dont want to see like zits and under eye circles..

so if you use that put a little on your finger and blend it in into the spot you need to conceal.

foundation is to even out your skin tone overall and look airbrushed:]

i like to take a makeup brush designed for your face and swirl in in the powder foundation and buff it onto your face with the brush with desiered amount of coverage

eyeliner hold down your eyelid and draw a line straigh across your lash line..im not an expert with this i dont use eyeliner sorry!

mascara take the wand and hold it at the base of your eyelashes and slowly drag it up your eyelashes wiggling the wand back and forth as you go to prevent clumps.

eyeshadow take the brush and just apply it to your eyelid and brow bone if desired..! thats about it! and glasses dont affect anything! hope this helped!
