How can i edit a dvd video captured from a handycam?

HI! I HAVE A SONY HANDYCAM & HAVE CAPTURED MANY VIDEOS. BUT I CAN'T EDIT THEM. IS THERE ANY SOFTWARE BY WHICH I CAN EDIT THEM.

Sony makes the easiest and best software for a novice to use.. Vegas Movie Studio... it will cost you about $75.... if you want all the bells and whistles you could go to Vegas Pro but that's around $600 dollars.

Well the best way to edit movies is with the macs software called ichat if you do not mind spending some money than you cold buy a mac computer!!If is really worth it!

If you have a mini dvd camcorder….

You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.

you seem to be a novice at this. but windows movie maker should be enough.
