  1. While I don't think what your asking is possible, I did learn a technique a long time ago that told me to picture my mind as a chalk board and as a thought occured picture it being writen and as soon as that happens start erasing it. Soon you're bored and asleep. It worked then, now I just use vodka.

  2. This is anxiety and would benefit from relaxation techniques.

This website has some good relaxation techniques. My counsellor suggested one which was to picture yourself out in nature, where you feel comfortable and safe, imagine the smells and sounds and textures of where you are. Focus on the small details. Introduce anyone who you want to be there, or just enjoy the time yourself. It can take a bit of practice.

I think the idea is to focus all the thoughts on something more positive. It sounds cheesy and though I'm a very skeptical person, it works for me.

  3. I have emptied my mind by smoking big Doobies, but now there is nothing left so I don't recommend this, plus it's illegal to smoke Mother Nature.

Maybe you could try some form of vigorous excercise after dinner and before bed like running or push- ups, followed by a nice hot shower.  Then try meditating; if you haven't done it before it may sound like a pain in the rear to learn.  There really isn't much to it though, at least not basic meditation.  Just GOOGLE "Simple meditation techniques" and you will find all you need to begin.

Good luck and try to get some sleep!

  4. smoke hookah before bed its very relaxing and it makes u think of absolutely nothing for the next 8 hrs

  5. First of all, tell your mind that bedtime is for sleeping, and not strategising about what to do the next day or whatever....if you have things to organise, do so on paper outside of bed, make sure all bases are covered and don't keep paper beside the bed, because you'll sit there still working things out and finally, only go to bed when you are tired.

Secondly, it is hard to clear your mind of all thoughts because that is it's job, to present options to you to either take or refuse.

    All the best.
