My son seems bored. He only has a bouncy chair to sit it. I talk to him but thats about all we do.

He sleeps for short periods. I want to keep him occupied and less bored.

  1. I felt that way with my daughter also but I felt a little better when I read an article saying that babies that young don't get bored because there are so many new things to see. Still it is nice to feel like you are entertaining your baby. I would sing to my daughter and play music for her a lot. She also really started to like her mirror around that time, I would just hold it up over her and she would stare at it and smile. You can also do some tummy time with him. My daughter didn't like tummy time at first but once she got more used to it she really liked it and it is really good for babies to get tummy time in. If you are trying to get stuff done around the house I would just put your baby in his bouncy seat where he can see you and talk to him about whatever you are doing, watching you is really one of the most entertaining things for your baby right now :) Good luck with your little one!

  2. sing and dance...talk parentese...ask him questions, go for walks, runs, the mall even-they love people watching with all the movement and colors!!   its good for you too!

  3. Take him for walks, sing to him, dance around with him, do baby exercises(moving arms and legs around). Also, if you haven't, invest in a swing. You can find good deals on Craigslist. We got Fisher Price Nature's Touch one for $60.

  4. THE best there is

          1. go to the park

           2.play in the grass

          3. play with kitchen things like pots and pans

          4. travel not far away places

          5. go hiking,biking,swimming

          6. library-books always help. seeing colorful

pictures is like a entertaning movie to them you'll know he will like it if hes really quite or just pure out laughing good luck

  5. My husband was deperate to be able to entertain our daughter but truth be told you can entertain them as much as you want at that age but you wont get much in return. Lol. Anyway, we found that little cuddly teddies are a good one and we even bought a little baby radio that plays tunes. We also have an arch that when the baby kicks it, it plays a tune. Most importantly babies at that age loved to be talked to. In our house we end up telling her all sorts of rubbish. As long as you say it in your baby voice (you know which one I mean, we all do it) she'll be entertained. Now she is 4 months old and giggles away at her big brother . I'm sure you'll fugure out what she likes soon.
