  1. You can go to internet options and clear the history and cookies, or you can make it highlighted and hit the delete key.

  2. click ctrl, shift and delete and check: browsng history then click clear private data...

    or

go to tools(in your browser)> options>privacy> history> clear history now

  3. There is a "cookie" on your HD with this info. Sometimes it is called a "history list." Delete that, and you're good.

  4. Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  5. Go to "Tools", click on internet options and delete what you want deleted. "Browsing History"

  6. To stop it from just *remembering* your searches: Go to "tools" at the top of your browser, "options", "privacy", and then uncheck "remember what I enter in forms and the search bar".

That's how you do it with Mozilla Firefox, anyway. It might be different with IE.
