  1. Joanne is definitely right.  Do that and you will have a clear address bar.

  2. click on the website and close it down.

  3. Click Start,

    Click Control Panel,

    Click Internet Options,

    Click Delete History,

    Click Apply (bottom),

    Click OK (bottom).

    That's it.

  4. yes. well of course you could always delete the history, but that doesnt take care of the auto-fill. ( when you get on google or something and it automatically fills out things you previously typed in).. the best way to do that is find the reset option on your browser( they all have it) just keep in mind this will delete your favorites too

  5. None of those answers will remove the URL from the address bar. You need to use a program like Window Washer to remove all evidence from your computer and address bar.

  6. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  7. Click Start then control panel then task bar then clear

  8. Do you even know what the Address Bar is?  it's the place where you see the url. People really need to learn simple computer basics before getting on the internet and maybe visiting sites they're sorry they visited.  And only one address can be there at a time.  Erasing it doesn't do a thing.  Maybe you meant to ask "How do I delete History?".  But then again, that's not what you asked, and even that doesn't eliminate all signs of where you've been.

  9. go to tools on your internet task bar then click delete browsing histroy then click on delete all

  10. Go to Tools click on Browser's options click Clear url's then ok That should do it

  11. go to tools  click internet options click delete browsing history

  12. Just put your cursor over them, turn them blue and hit the delete button on your key board.

  13. (1) Switch to Firefox instead of IE

    (2) Turn off URL completion, password storing and storing/saving history of where you have been to, and set it to erase all history and session information when you exit Firefox

    That will do it

Even if you tell IE to not track your activities, it still does in several secret files on your system - that date, time, keys you pressed, and the text of the website, plus occasional random images, are stored super-compressed on your drive.

  14. Normally you can find a delete history choice.  Check under tools for Internet explorer and internet options

  15. on the top of the internet explorer, click on tools, then internet options.  Under history push delete.  then its a good idea to delete your cookies and temporary internet files.
