How can i fight someone without getting charges pressed against me?

A few weeks ago my gf cheated on me with an ex. I have known this guy for a while and hate him. My gf and I have worked everything out and decided to stay with eachother but I still feel like I need to do something about her ex. I want to beat him up more than anything else. The problem is that this guy is a huge wuss and would probably call the cops on me and press charges. I know this bc when he cheated on my gf she slapped him once and he called the cops on her. Nothing happened to her, but i think that if i kick his a** i will get assault and possibly battery charges on my since its a guy hitting a guy and and not a girl hitting a guy. Is there any way or situation i could possibly put him in so that when i kick his a** I cant have charges pressed on me? And for those of u saying that fighting isnt going to solve anything, save it. I already have this idea in my head that beating him up will make me feel better and i think it will. I need to know how to do this without jail time.

You would be charged with battery. If he was injured sevre enough aggrevated battery or even attempted murder. Even if he did not press charges he could sue you. The less thing you want is to be tied to this guy through the legal system.

the only way to do it is challenge him to a boxing match and make sure it is in a ring  with a referee . but hes probably just a chicken but try it if he does it then you got your free ticket to beat the c**p out of him. you should have a pal club or a community center with a ring near you

You need some work done on your head.  You are just a bully looking to beat up someone you don't think will fight back.

You need to grow up and act like an adult and not some dime store gangster.  No you can't kick his azz unless your life is threatened.

Get him to hit you first. So it will be self defense. Just don't get knocked out.

Short answer, you can't.  Chances are this guy is not going try to  physically assault you first judging from you description of him.  If you go in fighting and he has not assaulted you, you will go to jail.  He will be the victim and you will end up with major fines and probably some jail time depending on the p.a. in your county or city.  My best advice is forget it and hope that she does not do it again.  She is not worth going to jail for.  Further advice would be a cheating woman is like a dog, once a fence jumper always a fence jumper.  I would leave here and leave your record clean.
