I started putting a closet in yesterday in my room, and everything was going great until i made a hole to big for the s***w. I've worked around it but the time where i can't anymore is coming real soon. So does anybody know how I can patch up the hole so i can try again?

P.S. Where i made the hole, is the only place i can make them, I can't go up, down, left or right, it has to be right there.

  1. You could try some sort of toggle,or butterfly fastener. They come in all sizes.

  2. Since that is the only place you can put the s***w at I would recommend installing a plastic slug in the hole.  They also make a metal slug that when you tighten the s***w in it it will compress and lock itself to the drywall.

  3. Use drywall mud, or you could get an anchor for the s***w that will go in the hole you made.

  4. If you're supporting it with this s***w then drywall mud probably won't cut it - something like an anchor is probably your best bet.
