Try http://www.telefonbuch.de - you also can make your search in English there - just enter your friend's name (first family name and then his surname - e.g. like "Müller Peter") and maybe you might find him, if he doesn't has a private (secret) phone number and if he's listed in the German telephone directory.

Look on google you can find the maps there. Also look in telefonbuch.de, if your friend listed in the phone book.
