  1. Try searching here:

    http://members.yahoo.com/interests?.oc=a

  2. If you know the person's Email Address you're looking for and want to find the person's Name,Address and Phone number,i recommend you using http://email-name-finder.info ,it has the largetst email address database on the web and they supply doing reverse searches to you.

and you dont need too much useless work,it can help you find someone easier!

  3. Unless somebody WANTS you to find his name or address by using his email address, you can't.

If you're looking for a Yahoo! member, the place to start is the member directory: http://members.yahoo.com/ . However, this doesn't provide a reverse email search, so if the person's Yahoo! ID is different from the email user name (the part before @), and it usually IS different, you will have no luck.

Also consider the possibility that the address you see in the "From" field is actually a fake address. If this is spam email you're getting, then it's fake.

Next, you could try an email directory, but you're chances of success are even lower than the Yahoo! Member Directory. In the early days, folks chose to submit their email address to email directories. Sites like Bigfoot & Switchboard were very popular. Everybody wanted to be found, to be communicated with...

These days there is no worthwhile, purposeful email directory. Those of the late 90's (ie Bigfoot) still maintain large databases, but the data is very out-of-date.

If the person has used their e-mail address purely for private correspondence (no chat rooms, no IM, no comments left in guestbooks, no contact details on their website), it is impossible to find - this could apply to more than half the email addresses out there.

Sites that offer reverse email results for a fee - typically they are a rip-off. Ask for your money back.

If it is important enough to you, and this person has done bad - go to the cops - they can help.

If you still want to try, here are some possibilities:
