How can i find a penpal?

I just started high school and am taking french. does anybody no a good way to find a penpal (preferably from france so i can learn the language)

A good pen pal site is IYS (International youth service). This is best for school kids.

There are great pen-pal websites Pen-pals.net and something called Pen pal international. But definately do  Email  handing over your home address could be dangerous. If you are looking for real snail mail letters, you might want to talk to your teacher and see if they can set up a program with a frech high school or call local frech tutors to see if they can set you up with someone they know.

I have a penpal in France, but he is much, much older than you (mid-40s).  If you're interested in writing to him (snail mail) then email me and I will give you his contact information.

I am an American working as an English teacher in a high school in France and could try to arrange an e-mail exchange for you if you are interested.

Snail mail between France and the US is expensive (although more exciting!), so I would recommend e-mail. E-mail is also safer.

Let me know. If not, your teacher should have resources for you. When I took French in high school, my teacher arranged a pen pal program for us.
