How can i find an orphanage in erlangen germany that existed in 1962? I am looking for my birth parents.?

I am in america now and was put up for adoption and want to find this orphanage. It no longer exists I think. I need to know the name and where the adoption records might be.

You can probably contact a long standing adoption agency over there, or another orphanage which has been around for a while, and they may be able to tell you atleast a little something about the place.
