  1. Contact your local social services or the agency you went through for the adoption; Good luck

  2. I don't think you can unless he is over 18.

  3. Get in touch with the adoption agency that you went through when you gave the child up.  If they are no longer in service, then I'm not sure what you would do.

  4. Depending on his age now, try

    Adoption agency

    Red Cross

    Social Services

    Facebook!!!

    Friends or families reunited.com

    Home for the adopted online

    Looking for my parents.com

    Splash centres

    NSPCC

    TRISHA show on TV

    Jeremy Kyle show on tv

  5. the adoption agency you went through should help you find your son.

If you did some kind of private adoption that may make it more difficult, you may even need to hire a private detective.

  6. I'm sorry i don't but i really hope you find your son he might be looking for you to the very best of luck to you

  8. My mom and I have been searching for my brother for years 44 to be exact and we finally found him through USSEARCH.com - and we ALL are so happy and making up for lost time. Good luck to you.

  9. Hi Lynn,

Could you maybe edit your question and give us a few more details like what state and year the adoption took place in, and if it was an agency or private adoption? Also let us know what you've done already; that way we're not giving you advise you've already done.

    At a minimum you should:

    1.) Register with Soundex: http://www.isrr.net

2.) Have you checked with the adoption.com registry? If none of them match, please register yourself so you've got a profile out there:

    http://registry.adoption.com/

3.) Check the state the adoption took place in. You can review the state laws here:

  10. I don't mean to be unkind but without knowing why he was adopted, maybe it's in his best interest you don't find him. Hopefully when he's old enough he'll come looking for you.
