  1. Best thing to do is call your insurance company, they will tell you if the service is covered and how much they will pay

  2. ~~Most dentist offices will get your benefits for you and give you an exact cost prior to beginning the work. If they do not, I would strongly suggest you get the EXACT billing codes from the dental office, then call and ask your insurance exactly what they will cover on those codes and what your part will be. We have had so many surprises because dentists tend to jack up their billing with codes that aren't covered by our insurance. We get everything in writing prior to starting. It saves you tons of money!~~

  3. My insurance compay pays up to 1,500 for adult braces. But they do pay it in a lump sum if you are financing. They pay a percentage over the course of treatment. I agree with the other answers. Get it in writing and know what they will pay when.

My Ortho requires a downpayment then you pay through ortho bank for 2 years with no interest. Then the money from the insurance company goes directly to you in quarterly payments.

SO check with both and figure out the best way to pay.

  4. You call the insurance company to ask.  IF you have orthodontics coverage under your policy, usually the insurance will pay half, up to $2000 or some such.

So, you pay $2K, they pay $2K.  If it's only $3,000, you pay $1500, they pay $1500.  If it's $5K, you pay $3K, and they pay $2K.

  5. Your situation are typical for a lot of people,so,be patient and calm down, check the resource i found useful.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...
