My sons grandfather died and left my son a trust fund, but his grandmother will not disclose any information about it. It was said that they have set my daughter up a trust fund also. How do I find out what bank it is at?

  1. Unfortunately this is none of your business.  The money doesn't belong to anyone except your son's grandfather's estate.  Until the trust requirements are met by your son there is no money.  The same goes for your daughter.

They may have a right to know the requirements of the trust but until they meet them the money stays with the estate and under the trustees control.

If you are concerned that the trusts are being mishandled you can get an attorney to act in the best interests of your children.

That's about all you can do.

  2. If grandma won't tell you are SOL!  But the kids may tell you when they are old enough to find out.
