How can i find out if some is still in jail? Is there a website?

There's a website intended to notify victims when the suspect is released from jail.

Not every jail/prison uses this system, but it still is pretty impressive.  

Other than that, you should be able to call the local jail and find out (it's public information).

Depending on what state that you are in; you should be able to go under your county sheriffs office and click on who's in jail

Jail or prison?  They are very different things.

1)Prison-go to a web search and type in the state you want and then department of corrections.

2) Jail-every county is different...my county does not have a website and you have to call the jail (thats my job to answer).  Other counties do have a full-service website with inmate names, charges, bails, etc.

I wish all jails had the websites!!!!!!!!

I don't think any government in any country is ever going to release data about prisoners to the general public.  So I would guess that, no you cannot check it on any website.

You would have to contact friends/relatives of the person whom so suspect may be in jail to find out.
