How can i find out if someone died in my house?

my husband believes our house is haunted and i don't believe in stuff like that but i think it is possible someone hung theirself from the ceiling fan.

  1. You could start by looking for a body in the bedroom. Sorry, couldn't resist that.

    With a house only 11 years old there's a good chance there would be neighbors who've been there since it was built but you say that doesn't work because the military guys move so often.

    So we go to plan B. Every military base has a housing office. Among other things, they help the soldiers find housing off base so they are usually knowedgeable about the surrounding area. You might even brighten up someone's otherwise boring day.


  2. Contact your local Revenue Commissions office located in your local courthouse

  3. You can only ask long time neighbors if there was such an occurrence in your house.  If you knew the name of the person who supposedly died there, you could also investigate the circumstances of that person's death.  However, without a name with which to start, there is really no way to source such information.

  4. The city does not keep records.  You could only learn by asking the neighbors.
