  1. You can call the police and ask, or just ask the first cop you see....

If you have a warrant turn yourself in and stop wasting our tax dollars on looking for you

  2. You can't. There are no public sites. If you call a PI or a criminal attorney they pay for access to private sites that gather the info from public records. If you go yourself to the court that you think issued the warrant (what the private sites do on a daily basis) the clerk in that court can check, otherwise you just have to show up at a police station with picture ID and ask them to run you. If you have a warrant they must arrest you, so do it on a Tuesday (not busy and you can get to court faster) in the early afternoon (so there is enough time for your prints to clear to get to court the next morning). Don't bother bringing a toothbrush, they take it away from you.

In real life if the warrant is not for a felony or a Violation of Probation you will have a bond and can get out as soon as your prints clear.

Please remember just because someone made a report naming you does not mean you have a warrant. If you missed court you likely do have a warrant.

  3. Yes, DO go to the police station.

  4. You should have gotten a letter in the mail, or if they have your address they might come get you.  Call the sheriff's office and give them your name, they will tell you.  If you do have a warrant, I suggest turning yourself in and being cooperative, that will lessen your bond and maybe your sentence at your hearing.

  5. Hmm, I thought I already answered this one.  This is easy.  Look up your local sheriff's department in the phone book.  They should have a warrant division.  Just call it and ask.  Warrants are public information.  Our warrants division gets over 500 phone calls every day.
