How can i find out someone's salary?

i need to know someone's salary. they won't tell me what it is exactly. is there a way (e.g. website) to find out?

It depends on their job and the employer. Most public sector employment comes with a pay scale allowing you to find out. In the private sector you dont have much chance of finding out unless for some reason the company has pay scales and publishes them.

No - unless he's in the military or civil service.  Because the pay rates are public knowledge.  But you'll never know exactly because of various other types of pay they receive.
