How can i find out the north/south/east/west of the four corners my house?

i know that the sun rises on the east but i can't be sure what corner is what. Thanks!

Get up in the morning with sun.

Face him: that is East you are looking at.

Stretch your arms sideways horizontally.

Left arm is pointing to North & right arm is pointing to South.

Your back is facing West.

If the sun has already risen, then watch for where it sets (or watch it moving across the sky to where it sets). That's West.

You can also put your address into G**gle and see plainly where you are located.

You know that N/S are the top/bottom of a cross, and that W/E are the left/right of a cross. So if you can determine W/E, you can determine N/S.

At approximately 1 PM daylight time, the sun will be due south of you.  Facing south, east is to your left, west to the right, and north is behind you.

...stick a pin through a cork, drop it in a cup of water, it will vassilate till the pin points N and S..

The sun rises in the E... sets in the W...

  ...  can ya figger it out form there?
