  1. Your lawyer in discovery will obtain a copy of the complaint on it will be the date that is was generated, in your case most likely your ex or who ever had official titled called the police to make a complaint that you had sold the car which you did not have rightful title to a junk yard and now the car is toast so to speak, from their the DA decided what laws you had broken in the commission of the act

  2.   When they arrest you and when you appear in court for arraignment. But you may want to call the local police and ask if there is a warrant out for your arrest. If not there's a possibility you haven't been charged.

  3. Pretty much the only way would be thru the police

  4. By going to the Court. Grand Theft charges are typically brought by the police or by the legal representative of whoever you stole from...

  5. At your arraignment you will be advised of the charges, through the reading of an indictment.  The indictment will have the details of the alleged crime, but may not have who reported the crime.

Your attorney will then ask for copies of all the evidence they have against you through a discovery process.  That will include police reports, victim statements and information of that nature.  You would then be aware of who actually made the complaint.

HOWEVER, I caution you to NOT do anything that may appear as a retaliation against this person or whomever it was that reported the crime.  Retaliation or intimidation is a VERY SERIOUS crime.
