How can i find out who is calling me?

It's 2 am and this person keeps calling making inappropriate sounds and saying profane things. I tried to *69 it, but it says that the number can't be reached. What should I do? He's called over 6 times and when I hang up, he calls right back.

Get in contact with the police. And your phone network provider - they can identify the number and even block it from calling you.

i don't know in your country,

but in my country, the telephone company got a service call "caller id", you can view the incoming telephone number from the caller id display,

you have to pay extra for the caller id display though

if hes thretening u in anyway, even frightening... u shhould contact the cops, makes a report, they can then monitor ur calls, carefull lady, we all seen some shady movies with that and we all know that these things can occur...

Call the police department (not 911) and file a harassment  complaint!!

call your phone company.

if they can't find out who the person is, they can still block the number(s)
