hi there i want a parrot and how can i find the nearest birds rescue center to me...

Try petfinders.com but don't allow any rescue talk you into or use the classic "you are the only one that bird will go to" to get you hooked on taking one of their birds home. I volunteered at a rescue an frankly did not like many aspects of what I saw. I am all for rescuing a pet but birds in rescues can come from an unknown abusive background making for a very aggressive animal in your home. Another thing you will want to ask is "how much is the adoption fees for different birds?" I have seen huge $$$ adoption fees. If you do not find a friendly bird from a rescue near you getting one from a breeder with excellent references is something you can look in to. Find one that will let you put down a deposit on a baby still being hand fed and will also allow regular visitation until it is ready to come home with you. This way you will have a bird that knows and trusts you and you know and trust it in return.

First , you need to tell where is your location, then you can research in your local area . I know a few , but I have not known your location . TM.
