How can i find the owner of a property?

im doing a job on a house and i need to know the owner of the property, is there a website or anything i can go to that can find the owner's name?

Find (google) the county auditor's web page.  There you will be able to search by address and they will list the owner's name.

Go to your county property tax collector website. Ours has a look-up system when you can enter the address and find out about the property.

Take the address of the building and go to the Tax Assessor's or county clerk's office.  They have a record of the owner on file and it is publicly accessible.
