How can i fix my HDMI port myself?

My HDMI port went out on my tv. I heard it can be easily fixed, but I don't know how.

TVs aren't designed to be opened by consumers.  Furthermore, HDMI is very complex since it contains so many different wires inside of it.  I doubt very much you'll be able to do anything.  You'll have to get the set professionally serviced - either by having a repairman come to your house, or taking the TV into a shop.  If it's still under warranty, call the manufacturer first, and they can arrange to have the set repaired - hopefully without having to mail it back to them.
