i have heard that you can pay someone $200 to clear your credit is that True?

There are no quick fixes. These people are running a scam to prey on the weak. My husband fell for it only we payed closer to $500. There was very little progress. The truth is, it has taken nearly 4 years of paying bills on time and paying back old debt to get his credit standing back to fair.

It is not true.  If the negative information is accurate, it will stay on your credit report for 7 years - 10 for a bankruptcy.  No one can change that.  If anyone says they can, they're lying.

The only good way is to continue making payments on bills on time. As long as you make on time payments each month-it will slowly build your credit score up.

There is no magic cure. There is no person who can clear your credit out (legally-or otherwise) for 200 or 2000 dollars.

And dont fall for anyone posting links here to websites which promise help but sound too good to be true.

NO.  There's no quick fix to fix your credit, you just have to take responsibuility for you financial desisns any build it back up slowly.
