Ok so I just bought a new aero bed for $160.00 and to say the least, I'm quite pissed off. the first night I woke up on the floor with a huge hole in the seam. I used the path repair kit that it came with but it did nothing. i need something STRONG that will HOLD for a LONG time. any ideas?

  1. Duct Tape!

  2. they sell it for inflatable pools , try walmart.  It's this plastic cement stuff. It worked really well. I actuallly patched a hole that was under the water line in my pool, it should work fine for your aerobed.

if you cant return it try this.

  3. What a bummer. I would suggest that you take that back to where you bought it from and take a refund.  Usually, products are returnable for things like that for 30 or 90 days at some stores.  Costco takes things back upto a year from date of purchase.

In case you can't, then you can visit Home Depot or some such store near you and buy some heavy duty adhesive for rubber or plastic or epoxy.  You can find some viynl or rackseen (excuse spelling) or leather piece that you think is strong and bond that using the adhesive.  You could rough the area with some fine sand paper (320) before using adhesive and patch to repair the hole.

If possible, you might want to try sewing the seem first with big needle and wool string.
