How can i free ring tones sent to my cell phone?

i dont know how to send free ringtones to my cellphone. i have an mp3 phone, but i cant set the songs i have on it already as ringtones. the only way i get ringtones now is for 3.50 $ at muchmusic.com. can anybody please help me ! ive already tried myxer and ventones and they both dont work for me. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!! :) :)

Heyas ... can you re-edit your details and give me the name and the model of the phone... basically your phone only sets MIDI files as a Ringtone.. check couple websites on the internet which provides MIDI ringtones there are loads of forums which does that..

i have verizon and i found that the only site that works for me is myxertones.com. also the only way i can get it to work is if i use yahoo email. i have tried msn and the message never sends to my phone. what you need to do is click where it says send to my phone. it will tell you that verizon does not allow it and blah blah but you have to download the ringtone and save it onto your computer. then you have to go to your email and in the address box you type in the number it tells you to send to on that sight.

what kind of phone do you have? if its like a really standard phone you can go to http://3gforfree.com/ to create rings for free. as long as your phone is supported.
