Im a 16 year old girl and i've been underweight all my life. How can i gain 5kg (10 pounds) in 3 months in time for summer? Are there any foods you wou would recommed? etc

    but i would recommend any food that is greasy and try to avoid any strenous activity g'luck

  3. (I'm guessing you're in the Southern Hemisphere, since Summer is almost over in the North.)

    Rapid weight gain (or loss) is never a good idea for your health. You should consult with a nutritionist to plan out an appropriate diet and to see why it is you feel you're underweight -- it may be that you have some other condition that is the cause. It may also be a natural part of your growth, such that your metabolism will slow down later in life.

    Your best bet to put on healthy weight is to start a regular exercise program-- which will increase your appetite, and add muscle, rather than fat.

  4. go to your doctors and ask about any vitamins that may boost your weight up to what it should be for a girl your height- id advise not to simply binge as that can lead to problens such as eating dosorders and simply gaining stomach fat rather than an all round healthy weight

  5. u dont wanna eat empty calories, try protein shakes or energy bars, these actually have alot of calories but other vitamins, even though your a girl, a protein drink doesnt act like a steroid or w/e so dont worry about, its about as much protein as half a piece of steak.  

  6. Eat... more protein rich food rather than fats.. egg white, meat is good source of protein.. eat salads..oat..drink milk atleast twice a day.. eat 5 small meals.. instead of 3 big meals.. drink plenty of water.

  8. well off the top of my head i would imagine that you eat all day and lift weights to build muscle. since muscle weighs more than fat it will help you gain weight quicker and get your body tone. just eat a lot of protein so your muscles can heal properly.

  11. Well, technically if you eat more calories than you use you should gain weight, but stay healthy!

  12. it depends. if u want to put on fat you can just eat alot of fatty foods and do not exercise at all but thats unhealthy. you can put on muscle by eating anything with protein like steak, and you can work out to build muscle too. hope this helps
