I'm 24, 5'2 and 101 lbs now, i was 103 like last week before i stopped eating all this junk food and doing some pilates and leg exercises to tone up and try to gain muscle i guess i did too much cause now im toned but no figure i lost weight from my inner and outer thighs and hips, my lower half is like a pencil and i hate hate it, i used to have a little figure, how am i supposed to work out and eat healthy to gain muscle and keep a flat stomach if all it does is make me lose major weight where i don't need to lose it? should i just stop working out altogether and overreat so i gain back my weight? how can i gain back my weight in a healthy way? are there any nutritionists or fitness experts that have heard anything like this before, i'd like some advice on what i can do, or anyone that knows what im talking about oh i have a fast metabolism too, so i guess im just screwed huh?

  1. I feel your pain! The best answer I can give, from my experience, is to first calculate how many calories you need to consume in a day for basic body functions (60% of calories go toward that). After that, calculate in your current level of physica activity. Here is a great link for help with the math (it'll walk you right through it.)

The site is geared toward weight loss, unfortunately. However, use the calculations to find out the calories you need, then up them by a little bit (whether it be carbs or protein is your choice, depending on the type of weight you wish to gain).
