Question:

How can i gain some fat on me?

im 14, weigh 130 pounds, but my arms and my body proportions are rather skinny.

Im eating okay and have a pretty normal appetite. I just dont know why im still skinny.

My friend said something about my metabolism being so high that food vaporizes in my mouth...

  1. Well your skinny you should work out and build some muscle and you wont be skinny you dant want to gain weight you are going to get flab and your not going to feel good about yourself trust go to a local gym and build muscles and you dont need to gain wait at 14


  2. Dear it's depend on you how much calories you burnt per a day.This is your growing stage.I don't know what food you are taking.My friend just add milk or meat and egg to your daily diet.

  3. Well, to my knowledge, there really is no way to selectively put your body fat. Eating excessive fatty foods is dangerous and is most likely collect on your belly area.

    Only thing I can think of doing is to gain muscle weight through exercise.

  5. no..your friend is wrong...just try to do strength training exercises or something to build muscle to even yourself out..muscle is what you really want not fat, as it is unhealthy. Also, try eating different types of foods that what you are used to...different foods affect your body in different ways.  

  6. You are describing the body type of an ectomorph or hard gainer.  While female ectomorphs are often envied for their ability to eat 1/2 a fatted cow (and fries) and stay thin, male ectomorphs have a harder time of it because it's so difficult to put some shape on your frame.

    Lots of people will tell you just to fill up on whatever junk is handy, but this is not a healthy option and in later life your body will pay you back big time for the poor treatment.  You have to eat properly for your body type and exercise the right way and you can really improve your body proportions.

  7. lol well don't over weigh your self. that seems like a normal weight, a lot of people have small arms. but if you dont want to gain weight in the wrong areas, work on getting muscle fat in your arm. work out and keep your good appetite :D

    or go to your doctor they probably know more than i do but that was my opinion

  8. You'll grow don't worry about getting fatter because if you wish "I want to be fatter" then you end up obese. Which is something you wouldn't want. Enjoy being young and don't worry about your appearance.

  9. dude u need to begin working out and take MUSCLE MILK! this has alot of protien! Take in as much Protein as you can! so will gain a fat but then the fat is turned into muscle! u'll look like Bruce LEE in no time!

  10. Hello! don't try to gain some fat just to get your arms and body in shape.

    To gain some extra mass for any part of your body, you are supposed to build the muscles there, and not gain fat there.

    You are very lucky with that high metabolism rate, make use of it.

    Work out for just 30 minutes a day, this will bring the whole body in shape.

    Trust me, you don't wanna gain fat, never try stunts with your body.
