How can i gain weight ?

im a typical scottish boy who is very active, i weigh 11 stone. i am 6" 2 id love to be much more bigger to have a good start off to the gym.im real slim and my forearms are really so puny ! PLEASE HELP ME OUT !! ARGGHHH

  1. You should only gain weight by lifting weights cause if you eat non stop even if you are not hungry is bad for your health. Just eat normally and also, your only 11 and your still growing. You'll be tall to start to weigh more by your weight. But you should just lift weights if you want to gain more pounds. Anyways good look and be active. Its not always a good thing to weigh more and remeber that cause when you have to much muscles and then got lazy to work out, those muscles start to sag and eatting more makes you go obese and then you can't stop eatting once you started. So becarful what you chose. :D  


  2. Getting bigger before going to the gym isn't your best option. I've been fairly skinny my whole life, so I understand the dilemma. I found that gaining weight was easiest for me by eating a lot while I was doing physical work. Try getting some protein powder (local health food store, GNC, that sort of place. they got a few types like whey, soy, etc) and make milk shakes with it. Eating a lot of protein while getting exercise will build muscle, and building muscle means gaining weight. If you can afford it, buy more than one type of protein. If protein powders aren't available in your area (you gave your weight in stones, and I don't know what type of health products are available in Europe), try eating lots of eggs, meats, cheeses, and milk.  

  3. Listen man... What you need to do is just hit the gym. Hit it hard, and with determination.

    Every set you do make sure you pump out 4-6 reps. This technique and reps will stress the muscles for maximum growth. Workout 5 times a week. Focus on your muscles for a good amount of time each day, and break it up so your not cramming workouts.

    EAT 5 times a day, HIGH calorie, HIGH protein. If you don't eat you wont gain its as simple as that.

    If you follow what I say you should gain around 1-2 of muscle a week.
