How can i get 17.7 volts to my ma audio amp hk200d for more power at 1ohm?

i have an ma audio amp runing to pioneer 12 sub in enclosed box. im trying to get 17.7 volts to get max power of my amp. the sub is rated at 1000rms.

let me know if you know how to get 17.7 volts

  1. i cant think of a way to get 17.7 but even if i could i wouldnt recomend it.

    amps are normally rated to run between 12 and 16volts so 17.7 is probable a bit much.

    if you want better power at you amp use a powercap located as near to the amp as you can get and wire it direct to the alt,

    this will give you direct power rather then thru your cars batter (where you have already lost some power)

    the cables will be 10x shorter meaning the amp will react quicker to the power source.
