How can i get Croatian passport?

i was born in croatia in1977 but have lived there for 6 years

  1. Birth within the territory of Croatia does not automatically confer citizenship. You can only obtain citizenship by naturalization, or by being born to one (or two) Croatian citizen parents.  If one (or both) or your parents was a Croatian citizen at the time of your birth and you have proof that they were, you can apply for a passport at the nearest Croatian embassy.
