How can i get Maandtrajectabonnement?

i need the monthly route pass from den haag - amsterdam

how long does it take to process the ID card that ill need from NS to get the pass , how much does it cost ? how long does it take all in all ... and most importantly can i get it ? or do i have to be a resident , thank u ! , oh and can somone else issue it for me , or do i have to do it personaly

visit www.ns.nl There is also an English site. There they'll explain everything for the abonnement: price, how and where to obtain, whether you need a picture, etc.

You can get the Maandtrajectabonnement from any NS sale booths (in all major stations) and also a ticket machine BUT in order to use this you have to have what is called a "Stamkaart" (which is personal to you with photograph & details)

To get the stamkaart you have to go to the service desk in the major railway station with a recent (unused) passport photo & ID (in the form of a driving licence or passport/ID card - in your case I would take a passport).  It used to be that you get it on the spot at the desk.

To be honest I am not sure if you able to get it without being a resident of the Netherlands. I read the small print on the details and it does not say that you have to be resident, so I assume it will be ok.

You have to get this personally as of course the stamkaart is personal to you and you have to take the photo and ID which need to be verified, so no, you cannot get someon else to get it for you.

The price is dependant on which stations you are travelling between e.g. Den Haag Centraal to Amsterdam Centraal is a different price that it is from Den Haag CS to Amsterdam Amstel Station (and Amsterdam has many different stations)
