  1. He probably misses his mother and might be a bit scared of his new surroundings. Take him into a quiet room with his litter tray, food and water/kitten milk and put him down. Sit on the floor away from him. Put his food, drink and litter tray away from him. He will sniff around a bit. Try and block off all hiding areas. Keep sitting there until he comes over to you. He will sniff you (don't move) when he calms down a bit stroke him. Its ok that you are affected by his crying just show him that you care. Don't be too loud he will get used to you. If he is still scared after about 15 minutes leave the room for about and hour and let him calm down. Then go back if he is hidden don't try and find him just tut quietly and wiggle your fingers. (Hope it helps!)

  2. We just rescued a two month old kitten.

    She cried all night long,

    didn't eat,

    didn't drink,

    just cried.

I offer her a little bit of milk mixed with water in her bowl and she drank that.

We do not give her any milk now, but this was just to get her to drink something!

Next we gave her wet food instead of dry kitten food.  She ate just a few bites.

Then a day or so she began eating it.

We keep dry food in her bowl at all times and fresh water daily.

    She also hid for sometime.

When she did come out, we played with her gently and eventually she wasn't hiding as much.

We also took her to the vet after the 2nd day of having her and it turned out that she had worms.  This is one reason why she was not eating.

Get him checked out as soon as possible.

The cry is horrible, I know.  She sleeps with my son right on his pillow at night, and that did help with the crying.

He misses his mom and is frightened by his new surroundings.

    Good luck!

Just take him to the vet!

    :-)

  3. He's probably just freaked out. Leave the food out, when he is hungry enough he'll eat. Don't force your affection on him, all cats are different. If he doesn't drink for 2 days then you should go to the vet. He'll get dehydrated.

  4. I JUST ADOPTED ONE ALSO.  I JUST LEFT THE KITTEN IN A QUITE ROOM WITH FOOD AND WATER AND WET FOOD.  MAKE SURE YOU CARRY HER AROUND AND SO HER LOTS OF LOVE.
