How can i get a better cradle?

i am a flyer on my cheer team and im having the hardest time arching my back wile in the air for some odd reason in order to do a cradle. im really trying to arch my back after being thrown up, but i guess im not cuz coach is starting to get frustrated :( any help here?

  1. Well...if you know how to do a back hand spring then just use that same technique.

    If not think of it as a rolling motion. You need to roll your body and then snap and pike at the end.

    It's hard for some people I understand I am a cheer coach.
