How can i get a flight in "City of Lincoln" Lancaster bomber if possible???

  1. You would have to join the RAF and be very lucky as well.


  2. Usually volunteering your time at their display tent or making a donation of considerable size will help grease the wheels.....if your a looker warm up to the flight crew that usually works.

  4. As far as I know the BBMF (Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight) do not give flights to the public but I know what you mean. I would love to be in the rear turret of a Lancaster on take off! You could send an email to the official website but I doubt they will let you because running these warbirds costs money! The exceptions are war veterens and people of importance I would think. However, at airshows they do often let some people have a proper look round the aircraft, I haven;t been lucky as to have a look round any of their aircraft as yet however.

  6. It being the only flying Lanc in the Country, if you stand at the end of the thirty mile long queque, you still have a better chance of getting a first class Concorde ticket to the moon!!
