i really want to play football in college, it doesn't really matter where, D-1, D1 AA, D-3... i really want to play... i have about a 3.3 gpa and it will only go up. i am a punter and trying to see what i can do to either get a schoalriship or get noticed. I didn't punt last year since our punter/kicker was unbelievable! so this is my year and i didn't get alot of action last year.i can punt the ball consitently past 30 yards and kick good balls at 40-45 yards. i have tried e-mailing some coaches and i got some responses but they really haven't seen me in action.

so my questions are:

is it too late?

can i get a scholarship?

what do i have to do to get noticed?

could/should i walk on to a college?

any advice?

  1. if the punter before you was unbelievable then find out if he got a scholarship and if he did then you probably cold( if your unbelievable)

  2. 1. at all levels you will have to kick well over 30 yrds. I am a freshmen coach and my punter can punt over 30 every time. also have to control the kick. you dont just kick the ball and hope it goes in the right spot. pretty much you have NO CHANCE as of right now, but keep working on it.

  3. steroids

  4. punter... hahahahahahah... u aint gettin no scholarship....hahahahaha

  5. i hate to say it but to get a scholarship you are usually a HB QB WR but where ever you live e-mail that coach and ask him to come to a game next ting you know you are noticed by one coach who tells another and another.................. and then you can maybe just maybe squeeze in that scholarship which is probably not going to be a full ride
