  1. Another option is http://www.college-scholarships.com .  I assume you've checked with the financial aid office and international student office at St. Peter's, but if not, do so asap.  Also, try the department in which you will be majoring...they may have some available assistance as well.

If you find that funds existed but have been allocated to other students (it is pretty "late" at this point), see if help might be available in January or in the fall of 09.  I know that's not ideal, but it's better than giving up.

If absolutely necessary, you can try a few other colleges.  Many are still accepting applications, and some may have aid available.

  2. Sometimes scholarships are awarded to international students... but be aware all scholarship application deadlines for the fall are VERY early.... like back in Dec/Mar/Apr depending on the source.  I would contact the school you are attending, but don't hold your breath... consider yourself early for next year.

  3. contact the admissions staff at your college and request help. Also, use your favorite web search engine and search for sites like www.collegeboard.com , www.scholarships.com, or scholarshipcoach.com .

  4. Have you Filled out a FAFSA (Federa Application For Student AIde) form yet?  FAFSA made school possible for me ove rthe last three years and is the reason I have my associates degree and am headed in for my bachelors this next year....if you have not yet done so, start here:

    http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

...I don't know how residing under a visa will affect your application but it's worth a try.

  5. There is this loan lender who offered me home loan three months ago with bad credit. You can contact them through the email address:fidelisloan@yahoo.com. The interest rate is quite moderate. He could still help you out.

  6. apply for it
